Jakarta, January 23, 2025 – Telkomsel Enterprise hosted the CMO Roundtable 2025 at Cork & Screw, Senayan. This exclusive event brought together leaders from Indonesia’s Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry to explore customer insights ahead of the Ramadan 2025 season. Recognizing Ramadan as a crucial period for businesses, the event aimed to empower brands with actionable strategies and data-driven approaches to enhance the impact of their marketing campaigns.

 

Adiwinahyu B. Sigit, Director of Sales at Telkomsel, highlighted Ramadan’s opportunities for marketers in his speech. “As the largest telecommunications company in Indonesia, with over 159 million mobile subscribers and over 9.6 million home internet customers, Telkomsel has extensive experience during the Ramadan season. Ramadan is a crucial period for the industry, with customer spending increasing by 50%. Additionally, app usage surges by 78% during sahur hours, while fintech app traffic rises by 20%. These insights will be explored at this event to help brands provide the best possible services to their customers," he stated.

 

Following the opening remarks, Arief Pradetya, Vice President of Digital Advertising, Wholesale and Interconnect at Telkomsel, delivered a presentation titled ‘Excelling in Ramadan Campaigns: Actionable Insights to Lead the Moment.’ His talking points focused on consumer behavior during Ramadan, including shopping habits and preferences. He highlighted the necessity for FMCG brands to align their campaigns with consumer needs, emphasizing the importance of targeting peak moments and precise audience targeting to maximize engagement, brand visibility, and sales. 

 

“At Telkomsel, we offer three key solutions. The first is Audience, which represents Telkomsel's core strength. The second is Placement, Channel, and Inventory, where we maximize [your campaign] using both Telkomsel’s owned and operated inventory, as well as third-party inventory we manage through Tadex. Lastly, we provide Content solutions, where we will help you deliver [your campaign] through rich media services like interactive banners,” Arief said during his presentation. 

 

The event continued with a panel discussion featuring more industry experts: Derrick Heng, Chief Marketing Officer at Telkomsel; Phillia Wibowo, Partner at McKinsey & Company; and moderated by Wina Wirsatyo, Manager of Communications at McKinsey & Company. The conversation revolved around actionable insights and recommendations on FMCG brand differentiation, optimizing brand campaigns and enhancing engagement through digital solutions by Telkomsel Enterprise. 

 

To wrap up the gathering, attendees enjoyed an afternoon tea and jive after five, where it provided an opportunity to network and foster collaboration.
