Jakarta, 09 November 2017 – Telkomsel is expanding its Mobile GraPARI (MoGi) services to various locations in Indonesia using motorcycle fleets, to enable customers in remote areas who have not been covered by telecommunication services to be served as if they are at the GraPARI customer service point. This mobile service is equipped with a special box that brings Telkomsel products and services, ranging from credit top-up service, starter packs, and so forth. Currently as many as 169 Mobile GraPARI Motorcycles are operate in various locations on the island of Java and Bali.

Telkomsel’s Sales Director Sukardi Silalahi said, "We are always committed to serve customers maximally and provide comfort in interacting around Telkomsel services. We hope that a very high level of mobility of Telkomsel Mobile GraPARI Motorcycle can serve the communication needs of customer to remote areas that are not covered by our service center, and minimal access and difficult to access by cars.

Sukardi also added that the presence of Mobile GraPARI Motorcycle can accelerate the penetration of broadband service usage, both 3G and 4G, by the people in the locations already served by the fast Internet service. “It is expected to open access to public information, so it can support the economy, especially the SMEs to grow,” added Sukardi.

In operation, Mobile GraPARI Motorcycle has three main functions, namely education, service, and sales. In the education function, this mobile service can provide information to customers, including about the product, the type of data package, the price of the data package, the digital product package, and the prepaid registration. In the service function, the presence of Mobile GraPARI Motorcycle can serve as a place for complaint handling and replace the card, before the customer is referred to the nearest GraPARI. While in the sales function, this facility can also serve the sale of starter pack, credit top-up voucher, digital content,T-CASH Tap card, and T-CASH cash-in.

In the future, through Mobile GraPARI Motorcycle, customers in remote areas can also recognize Telkomsel's broadband and digital services ranging from T-CASH, various digital lifestyle services, to mobile advertising that can support the development of SMEs," said Sukardi.

The presence of mobile services with a fleet of motorcycles will complement the 592 Mobile GraPARI which serves as Telkomsel's mobile service fleet which currently operates in various locations in Indonesia. With the presence of both fleets, the expected convenience and communication needs of customers can be realized anytime and anywhere.
