DIRECTOR OF IT
Joyce Shia was appointed Director of Information Technology at Telkomsel on May 31, 2024. Prior to this role, Joyce served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at NETS from 2019 to 2021 and as the Vice President of Digital and IT at Singtel from 2021 to 2024.
Joyce also has extensive previous experience as an IT executive in various companies. At Digi Telecommunications, she served as the Head of the Technology Department (2014-2016) and the Chief Information Technology Officer (2016). She also held positions at Telenor, where she served as the Vice President of Digital Global Services (2016-2017) and Vice President of IT Asia (2017-2019).
Joyce holds a Bachelor of Software Engineering degree from the University of Melbourne and has participated in a series of leadership and executive programs with Telenor, including those at the London Business School (2015-2016), Asia School of Business—MIT Sloan Management (2016), and INSEAD—CXOs Execution of Digital Transformation (2016). In 2023, Joyce participated in the Phoenix Encounter Workshop program at INSEAD with Singtel Group Top Executives to further enrich her skills.
