Telkomsel dan Huawei Jalin Kemitraan Strategis dalam 5G, Cloud, dan Solusi Enterprise di MWC 2025 Barcelona
BARCELONA, Spain, March 3, 2025 – PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel) and PT Huawei Tech Investment (Huawei Indonesia) have officially established a strategic partnership to accelerate digital business growth in 5G, Cloud, and Enterprise Solutions. Officially signed by both parties at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 Barcelona, the collaboration focuses on two key aspects: joint innovation in digital technology development, and talent development programs to enhance the competencies of the telecommunications workforce in Indonesia.
The signing ceremony was attended by Indra Mardiatna, Chief Technology Officer at Telkomsel, and Li Bingyao, Director of Huawei Indonesia Delivery and Service Business Department. Under this one-year agreement, Telkomsel and Huawei will collaborate on two main initiatives:
1. Joint Innovation in Digital Technology
a. Developing technological solutions to improve network coverage and service quality, especially in densely populated areas.
b. Optimizing infrastructure investments to create a more efficient network with sufficient capacity to deliver an enhanced 5G experience.
c. Utilizing the latest technologies to enhance digital services, including VoLTE-based communication solutions and high-quality video and streaming services.
d. Exploring the application of digital technologies in industrial and agricultural sectors to boost productivity through smarter connectivity.
2. Digital Talent Development
a. Conducting training programs and knowledge transfer initiatives to ensure telecommunications workforce can effectively adopt the latest technologies.
b. Strengthening workforce skills in digital infrastructure management, cloud technology utilization, and AI-based solution implementation.
c. Preparing Indonesia’s digital talent to be more equipped for the evolving telecommunications industry and to contribute to a more advanced digital ecosystem.
