We successfully held the Action for Change 2024 (AFC 2024) event, which wrapped up on November 29th, 2024, as part of the Singtel People and Sustainability Summit 2024. This incredible event brought together talents from across the Singtel Group, highlighting the strength of collaboration in fostering innovative and impactful solutions. It aimed to showcase how teamwork and creativity can tackle real-world challenges effectively.
From brainstorming sessions to final presentations, AFC 2024 was about breaking barriers — cultural, time, distance, and professional backgrounds. Over three months, regional associates developed solutions to real-world challenges, guided by mentors. They finally met face-to-face before the pitch, gaining valuable insights to refine their ideas. A total of 95 ideas were gathered from participants, with 3 selected ideas advancing to the final round.
Andrew Buay, Vice President of Group Sustainability at Singtel Group, expressed his excitement about extending Telkomsel’s Polaris program into the regional forum. The program empowered teams to develop solutions that address both business challenges and social issues.
The grand finale featured a keynote speech on the Rahayu Project, a conservation initiative focused on preserving Bali’s cultural heritage and promoting sustainable development. Participants then took the stage, pitched their innovative solutions that impressed both the audience and judges.
