Inflight Roaming Information

Inflight Roaming Quota is a roaming quota that allows customers to stay connected while in flight. Inflight Roaming Quota can be used on 19 types of airlines and when the aircraft has reached an altitude of 6,000 meters above ground level. To be able to enjoy the Inflight Roaming Quota, customers must ensure that the type of airlines and type of aircraft used are in accordance with the following range:

How to connect using Inflight Roaming Quota

Airplane Mode OFF

Deactivate Airplane Mode on your smartphone settings once the plane reaches an altitude of 6,000 meters above ground level.

Cellular Data ON

Activate Cellular (mobile) data and ensure your Wi-Fi is off.

Roaming Data ON

Ensure your Roaming Data is active, and you’ll be automatically connected to Telkomsel’s partnering network (Aeromobile).

Enjoy roaming!

Now you can start using the internet on your mobile device.

Additional Information

Make sure the flight you are using is within the reach of the Inflight Roaming Package airlines and aircraft coverage.
Make sure that during the flight you are at an altitude of 6,000 meters above the ground.
Activate your device and turn off the airplane mode.
Activate cellular data.
Activate data roaming in settings.
You will be automatically connected to the Telkomsel’s partnering network and can use the internet as usual during the flight.

Roaming Quota is included in the Halo+
Roaming Quota applies to all Telkomsel Halo+ customers who purchase the Halo+ package with roaming benefits in it.
Customers can use the Roaming Quota directly as long as they are within the countries and flights coverage.
If the Halo+ Roaming Internet Quota runs out, customers will be charged a basic internet rate (PAYU/Pay as You Use) of Rp6,000/MB up to a maximum of Rp200,000/day. Please activate another RoaMAX package to be able to enjoy more economical internet services.
Halo+ Roaming Quota can be used for tethering.
To be able to enjoy voice and SMS services while roaming, please activate the RoaMAX Combo package or the RoaMAX TalkMania package.
Checking the Roaming Quota can be done through the MyTelkomsel App.
The Roaming Quota’s validity period starts after the Halo+ package is active and will be automatically extended following the billing period.
