V-NSP (Video Personal Ring Back Tone) is an innovative service from Telkomsel that offers a new experience when making phone calls. With V-NSP, you can replace the usual ringback tone (the sound heard while waiting for the call to be answered) with a personalized video, allowing the caller to enjoy interesting content while waiting. Currently, V-NSP can be used for data-based calls, such as calls made via WhatsApp. This service is designed to expand and will eventually support other data call applications.

V-NSP Service (Video Personal Ringback Tone) is a service that provides menus and catalogs of videos that can replace the standard call waiting tone, allowing it to be enjoyed during phone calls. This service is provided by Telkomsel in collaboration with third-party content providers.
V-NSP Service is available to all Telkomsel subscribers who have downloaded and use the MyTelkomsel App. The service is compatible with Android OS version 9.0 or higher and MyTelkomsel App version 8.6 or higher. Please ensure your Android OS and MyTelkomsel App versions meet these requirements.
To use this service, V-NSP requires the following:
1. Callers and recipients are advised to save each other's contacts on their respective devices.
2. Both callers and recipients must grant permissions in their device settings as follows:
  1. Contact Access: Required for the V-NSP app to identify friends in the user’s contact list who also use this service.
  2. Notification Access: Necessary to provide real-time notifications about incoming calls, service updates, and status information.
    For some Oppo and Xiaomi devices, if encountering restricted settings while granting Notification Access, follow these steps:
    1. Close the MyTelkomsel App and open Settings.
    2. Navigate to the Apps menu and select App Management.
    3. Find and select the MyTelkomsel App.
    4. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the upper-right corner and select "Allow Restricted Settings" or locate the restricted settings option and allow it.
    5. Reopen the MyTelkomsel App.
    6. Grant notification access.
    7. Select "Allow."
  3. Device Access: This permission is required for the app to display videos on your phone screen during an incoming call.

For Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo users, the "auto-start in the background" permission must be enabled in device settings. The app will guide users to the permission settings, and users must grant permission to the MyTelkomsel App for the V-NSP feature to work properly.
Users who have granted Contact Access, Notification Access, and Device Access on one device will still be able to display V-NSP on the caller screen even when switching to a device without the MyTelkomsel App.
Upon purchasing and activating this service, you will receive 50MB of free daily data for V-NSP playback during calls with V-NSP users. Usage exceeding 50MB per day will be deducted from your existing data quota. Please ensure your data quota is sufficient.
The prices displayed for this content already include a VAT.
The V-NSP service utilizes user call events and is managed in accordance with Telkomsel's privacy policy.
Telkomsel will notify you when your subscription period for this service is about to expire. You need to confirm to unsubscribe the V-NSP service via the notification. Ensure your prepaid balance or postpaid credit limit is sufficient for renewal, or the service will be renewed automatically when you have enough balance.
V-NSP users can unsubscribe from the service through the MyTelkomsel App by following these steps:
1. Open the MyTelkomsel App and select the profile icon in the top-left corner.
2. Go to the "Connected Services" section.
3. Select the connected service number.
4. Choose "Packages and Subscriptions."
5. Under "Additional Packages," select the service you wish to unsubscribe from.
